I stand corrected and I apologize for my ironic response. I'm glad to learn that the A4 is capable of such good mileage even if it doesn't fully apply to the quattro.

I've only had my car for a few days and even though I don't red-line it yet I have been enjoying the torquey low end power compared to my former Acura, and that uses a lot of juice (also chipped by the way). But like I said; I'm happy to know that if I want to go light with the gas I can do well.
