loose steering

Previously submitted reply denied. Haha. Why? Bc it was intense. Your 2010 A5 is a mistake of engineering. Even Harrier jets and Formula One's and Mega Yachts and Voltswagons and Telas and Nuclear powered submarine generators and MIGs and Cesnas and Boiengs have oil level dipsticks. But the 2010 Audi A5 (and whatever other models and years?) ...no sir. And ... This model marvel of degenerate engineering is beautiful and beastly even at 2.0 L T Quattro, it's a total conundrum, an inefficient, quasi illegal emissions type slip through the cracks type four wheller. I question other fluid levels like the freaky STEERING , which just out me and passenger into a palm tree in Ft. Lauderdale; the steering went totally loose and there we were bouncing off a palm tree on Broward Blvd. Airbags didn't deploy. Couldn't believe it given the impact . Makes me wonder about all those sensors. No oil dipstick? Faulty sleeve liners? <40k miles on a 2010? 1 QUART SYN OIL PER 1k MILES!! Makes me wonder. A diesel, military used Humvee with 80k miles doesn't even use that. No vehicle should. It's inevitably ineffective, those sleeve liners or whatever, and makes me wonder about other potential defects including the steering which again, just now let

thanks man - there's hardly any front end to jack up. The 2010 A5 is bad off and body won't let me shake a front end tire, even if on the rack. Having it investigated and then towed to the dealer tomorrow.

[QUOTE=CaptainGonzo;1509353]thanks man - there's hardly any front end to jack up. The 2010 A5 is bad off and body won't let me shake a front end tire, even if on the rack. Having it investigated and then towed to the dealer tomorrow. After what happened here yesterday, lucky this was an unlucky collision with an inanimate object going around an innocent curve ; the steering literally let loose as a hydraulic squeal simultaneously revealed itself as I began the turn.
