Default Location Gearbox Speed Sensor

Just got my A4 back from the Shop and I have Two Codes 00279- Gearbox Speed sensor (G38). no signal, intermittent. and 00526-brake light switch F. implausible signal. Ok, I have read that the brake light switch F always happens if you don't step on the brake before scanning. That said, it leads me to the Gearbox sensor (G38). Where is it located? I have searched the ZF transmission break down and located twospeed sensors. One on the side of the transmission and one in the Valve body itself. Which one is it. I'm hoping it is the one on the side of the tranny. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a screenshot of the sensor from the bentley manual. Hope this helps!
