yeah, i wouldn't go back to that age for that reason. dealers treat you like ****, cops pull you over for nothin, and they tell you your young and you just gotta suck it up and pay your dues. i never wanted to hear that ****. im a fighter too.

 

I feel ya. My brand new 07 A4 is in the shop this week again to fix a vibration problem they haven't been able to locate...

If they don't find it this time, they'll be giving me a new car or hearing from attourney....Or Both.

 

Well i been on the phone with AUDI of america, and the VW Dealer all morning. I think this is gonna turn out better than i thought. The guy at audi told me to pick my car up ASAP and keep it home. And now im waiting on a call back .. so i am keeping my fingers crossed

Total Labor $830.00- and they say they didnt take the transmission apart? Then what the hell DID they do for $830 in labor?

 

HAH! exactly what i said. Then they told me "We didnt have to drain the fluid to remove the transmission or to put the rear main seal in"
Maybe im wrong but doesnt fluid leak out when you remove the awd, and the transmission from the car? I mean seriously unless im retarded ... Audi is being very helpful thank god! This is the best customer service i have ever received from somewhere. Audi Of America is great! ill keep you up to date as things roll in.

side note... got the car back around lunchtime.. i missed it! it still drives like poop but i orderd a A/T Filter, oil, pan gasket and some other goodies from here http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail....od=F2A1007%2DA

 

well dont feel too bad, i always do oil changes myself but hell it was free so i took mine in for the free oil change and didnt have a good feeling,... i stopped before got there and took my pocketknife and put two deep scratches on the oil filter through the black paint.......... when they got done......... scratches were still there... service rep denied it.. i told him to give me 3 filters and two cases of oil or i was writing AoA

he said, it will be in the trunk

 

Back when I used to work at Pepboys I heard all kinds of stuff like that. People bringing thier cars in for 4 shocks/struts... but only the front ones were bad. the tech walks into the store grabs a can of black spray paint and some sandpaper. scuffs up the old shocks with the sandpaper and paints them to look like new. replaces the front shocks and good to go. unbelievable, but it happens everywhere.
