Lets debate!!
PPl say using a MBC to put the boost up leans out your car. How?? What exactly does a chip do to make sure yourchambers have enough gas at the right times?? Id say nothing. Fuel depends on the maf right and is adjusted by theFPR (which is not electrical) so the chip cant have any effect on the FPR. if you can run 15psi with a chip, why not with a mbc?? Other then timing problems , as some say, i dont think fuel would be a promblem..
Any other opinions????

RE: Lets debate!!
The chip remaps the car so you dont lean out. Im sure GIAC or APR could send a 2 page explanation as to how they do this exactly. But simply put the program that is installed controls all the components needed to make your car run efficiently without causing problem like leaning out.

and before this gets out of hand like the dtec discussion,
we are not saying you shouldnt put an mbc on because we dont like it.. lots of people have tried it, with bad results
the only reason you should need an mbc on your car, is to supress boost spikes caused by programming, or large turbo's

I agree and understand you lazer viking but ppl are saying the car will lean out. I wana knowhow??? wat components does it play with to make sure the car runs rite??? because the fuel is adjusted by the FPR according towat the MAF reads .

RE: Lets debate!!
if it does this (the bishop)then why do they say it gives better fuel economy??? Also the injectors need to pump more fuel for thegiven time, cant be too long, thus the FPR comes into play.More pressure for the given time
