very true, I only questioned the other guys statement because the guy has an '04 1.8T which does not need to be changed untill around 90k

ORIGINAL: giantjazz

My first post. I have a 2004 Audi A4 1.8t with sport package, tiptronic and leather. oil change every 3000 miles. My lease is up in about two months. Milage is 24,000. The buyout figure is about $18,000. In the almost four years that I've owned the car I have had Zero problems.I want to buy it.What should I ask the dealer to do or check before the warranty is up? Can I expect any serious repairs before 50 or 60,000 miles( mostly city driving)? Any serious issues with this model?Should I buy it and why?

Thanks for any and all advice. Bob[/align]
My advice? Turn that sucka in andget another onejust like it, except with a manual transmission and quattro. Then, you'll go from 6,000 miles per year to like 10,000 miles per year just because your new car is soooo much more fun to drive.
