Is it worth the money to upgrade to a ko4 turbo on a automatic a4 q? I already have a Dv, borla exhaust, evo intake, no chip yet but I also plan on getting a testpipe. I am thinking if i should get the ko4 the same time i get the chip/testpipe....or should i just get the chip+testpipe and forget about the ko4. (When i say chip i mean the Tip chip as well)

 

theres are a few people running K04s on tip trannies

 

i saw a post where a guy wtih the tip tranny upgraded to a ko4 and ran the same times.....

 

i would get the chip anyday bc it makes a huge diffrence.
and im going to purchase the tip chip bc ppl say it makes the b5 shift really fast but doesnt do much diffrence on the b6 and b7.
but would garrett gt28r turbo go on tip?

 

my car is tiptron, its way faster than it was stock but it still sux compared to manual.

Mine is about 200 with a 93 APR chip. It made a huge difference. but I am yearning for a K04

for the price difference it is worth it the K04 is pretty cheap upgrade if you go on www.audizine.com you can find lots of used kits there cheap as well

 

how much hp do you think the k04 will add over the ko3 on a tiptronic tranny?
