Yep...probably just getting used to it. Is it seeming more reliable these days? I know you had some trouble in the beginning but hopefully you'll be good to go now.
so far no problem (knock on wood) I am hard on it. I drive like I stole it. No problem so far. except I need to tight the coolent line from turbo, it is leaking a little little bit.

thats a shame.....i would prefer the ko4, but since im not upgrading because i want to go farther than a lifeguard in life i would suggest taking out a loan and getting a garret upgrade...that'll smash the bug for a while.

Arif, the testpipe will yeild you prolly 20hp if you still have a stock. With the stock turbo there like a 15hp gain, and flowing alot more air then a ko3 does.

I just watch my stage 3 vid, 15 to 100 is about 8secs flat. 0 to 60 is about 5sec flat, maybe less. That was when my car was empty from the front seats back, and my cltuch was holding and the car was sideways launching.

Yeah, I have the gtrs setup, and I honestly think a ko4 would hand me my *ss. I did the gtech thing last night(a friend made me) and it said I have 287chp give or take 10%, or whatever the error in it is. But my car feels so slow. I am seriously considering selling my whole kit and going with a 30 series turbo, bc the 28 series aren't cutting it.

Oh, and for anyone with the gt2871r kit that wants to know how it compares to the gtrs kit, I raced my buddy with that kit, and he put about 3 cars on my through three gears. But he has k&n, atp 3" inlet, gt2871r, cat delete, 3" catback and bigger injectors than me. I still have the stock air filter(really need to change), stock inlet, stock cat, and 3" cat back. So I believe once I get the other stuff on there, I will have more for him... but we will see.

Actually if you wana talk about fun the ko4 is extremely fun because of the torque it makes. Down low a ko4 is going to be faster and spool time will be faster too. Ive seen all these vids of the elims and ive yet to see any that compare to my stage 3 vid i have. All just seem slightly faster then a ko4(hard to judge when ur not in the car)
Yea, thats what I said... k04s spool like nothing and produce amazing torque.. like 300-320ftlbs of torque (crank) at like 2000-2500 RPMS all the way up to 5/6k.. thats nice

From what ive seen.. the Elims are fast.. bust not as fast as some.. for some reason looking at the speedos.. it seems slow.. maybe its the way you guys drive them.. but yea..

Though I bet it seems fast because you are used to 200BHP and now you are at maybe 320+ BHP.

The one thing I dont get about renn-arts kit (no dis intended).. that if your going to buy a new manifold.. MAF.. software... injectors.. and everything you need for a BT.. why not go FULL BT. Im sure it would be harder than a eliminator.. but I think you would get sooooo much more TQ. Thats what these setups seem to be lacking...

I think renn-art should sell FULL BT Kits... maybe a t3/t04e .57 Trim .63 AR .. thats what I need!

The elim turbos are great turbos, its the tuning thats behind them that kills them.quattrosedan, the turbo you have is capable of 300awhp with the right tune. Save your cash and go have some knowlegdeable custom tune it on a dyno(a guy in ct does it). With all the supporting mods and race gas and a good tune, your car has mid 12s in it.

I never got to dyno, but on 104 i was prolly making 320hp, and 260awhp at most. 1/4 times in the high 12s, and 0 to 60 in mid 4s. Keep in mind i had a 2.8 trans, and the car was empty in the back, with 16pd wheels. So that 320hp really moved the car around.
