Hello all,

I am new to Audi forums so take it easy on me

Anyways, I recently started noticing this knocking sound coming from the front of the car. It tends to only happen when I'm in gear and coming to a stop. If I slow down and place the gear to neutral I do not hear the knocking sound.

Anybody have ideas on what could be causing this sound? Thanks!

i have something like urs going on. does it make that sound when ur parked and u rev to like 4k? i think it might be the cat conv. as it gets old, the stuff inside will become lose and move around when the engine is slowing down.
