alright guys.... afterinstaling a K04before and learning the hard way of parts you should buy when installing the turbo, i think im ready to do it again. Not to mention this is my third a4 now. I think i have all the parts i need (i wanted to do everything all at once) but definatley correct me if im wrong. I want to make sure this will last for awhile and not give me these F-ing headaches like before. These are the parts I have and PLEASE tell me if i need something else for a safe and lasting install.......
-K04-015 turbo from AWE-Tuning
-GIAC k04 chip.....getting sent in for updated file
-Just ordered full 2.5" tech tonics borla exhaust system
-Tech tonics 2.5" Downpipe
-Tech tonics 2.5" Hi-flow cat
-Replica Fordged DV (might buy a different one, bought off ebay.. and kinda having second thoughts)
-2.5" Intercooler piping and intercooler (making custom myself)
-5 bar fuel pressure regulator
-Amco aluminum lightweight flywheel
-South Bend stage 2 or 3 clutch kit (not sure which one I installed) its been awhile
-All necessary gaskets and hardware

Questions:
-What injectors should I buy for best quality and performance?
-Where is a good site to buy Rs4 motor mounts?
-Greedspeed or Apr snubmount???

If I have forgot about anything please let me know... I want to make sure I have everything before I go further and have everything installed. I had many problems last time i put a K04 on so im doing the right way this time...... Thanks for any and all help!!!

 

do u have a k04/k03 install kit wit the gaskets
and make sure ur GIAC programmin is the one with larger injectors casue theres two types of K04 software, Injectors and NONinjectors

 

Dont forget 1 heat range cooler plugs-NGK bkr7e

If you get the big injector k04 file i think youll need a vr6 maf housing and AFPR set to around 3 bar.. i might be wrong.

 

yah i have all he gaskets that are used for the kit, I had to purchase them from AWE since i am using this turbo from a previous cari had it installed on. do you have any suggestions on buying injectors? Also anything else i may need to look into. Writing this i forgot i need to buy an intake (duh) but other than that, i THINK i covered almost everything

spark plugs. the brand is NGK, and the part # is BKR7E.

 

gotcha. do you guys recommend any places to pick up rs4 motor mounts or greedspeed snub mount (seems apr snub mounts have to many complaints). Thanks for the spark plug suggestion

 

yes to the 7e plugs
yes to the t.i.p
labree has a cheaper hfc

ecs has rs4 mounts, i think
abd the greed speed snub is alot cheaper (and wont need trimming)

what file are you getting for the k04 ?
and you should ask giac what size injectors they reccomend.. i think it may be the tt225 injectors

 

i already have the hfc from my previous vehicle so buying it doesnt matter anymore. Im in the processof trying to get a hold of someone at AWE to see what they recommend for injectors and a couple software questions... but the damn lineis always busy. For the software i have to make sure i get the right file since i have a 2001 and i no its different for certain years (pc-16?, hammer, somethin...)
