tranverse is right, 710n is good for anything less then ko4. I tried to run a ko4 with a 710n and could boost anyhigher then 20psi.

Yeah the 710N made a big difference on my car... held way more boost, my old one must have been shot. And yeah, it took no time at all for me to install, but if your install is like mine, bank on getting one of those clamps... the round clamps with the screw to tighten them? I had to destroy the one original clamp.

As for your other mods... the GIAC tip chip? I know nothing about it, but have heard others talking about it. anybody else, feel free to chime in and help me out, regarding the tip-chip.

 

before i got my MTM chip i did some research on chips .....and what most people said to me is that to choose between APR or MTM....not to get Neuspeed or Giac.... But it seems that alot of people like the Giac Chip.......check this link out

I was under teh impression that the GIAC tipchip was like, not an ECU chip, but something JUST for the tranny, it would be in addition to a regular power chip. I could be *** backwards about it though... I drive a manual. :P I drove on 98 tiptronic, and hated it to death.

 

honestly i haven't seen nothing like that......I might be wrong also......but every time i heard about Giac it's been only ECU chips

 

I thought GIAC is only making ECU chips? huh i guess you learn something new everyday eh?!

 

GIAC makes an ECU chip as well as a Tip Chip for tiptronic cars, which decreases the shift time significantly.

 

thats Interesting...i have a TIP car...I guess you have to have the GIAC chip in order to get the TIP chip.....Do you have any links?
