the orignal owners name is lucas, not david. In any case, I called 2bennett, and theyre interested in the car, but need to know more about it. I got the name and # of the shop that orignally did the work, and hes gonna call and get more info. This thing desperately needs to be tuned, i was told it was fouling plugs like none other, and running way rich.. I had my first encounter with the plugs beginning to foul- got on the road today, let it warm up a bit prior, but it stumbled, then 2 mins later died.. I started it back up ran fine for the next hour, no problems, but im assuming its the plugs.

 

try to keep your speed and boost low ( if u can ) until you got a fine tune...

 

Im trying.. Anyone have any experience with tuning on these cars, and what kind of $$ you have to throw at them?

 

I know one guy that paid a shop to tune his car similar to what you need, i think he was also using split second although he may have used apexi. He paid the shop $3000and it came out with a pretty decent tune.

I dont want a crazy tune, just a decent tune so that it runs right, not too rich and doesnt foul plugs basically

 

Hmm, i think any tune is gonna be at least 1000k if your lucky. If you find one for cheaper let me know!
