RE: Just fitted my K04 but have a problem
Ok cheers for the advice.
I just took my car for a spin without the MAF plugged in and the on off effect was no longer there but when i came to a standstill the revs would drop and then level its self out.
The car still pulled but not nearly as well as before above 3.5K revs.
I am not sure if the problem was no longer there because the car may no have been as under as so much pressure so to speak.
Cheers

If your car runs better with the MAF unplugged then I would definitely say its your MAF. If your ECU doesn't read a signal
from the MAF it should go to a fail safe mode where it injects fuel based soley on rpm and timing. The MAF and the O2 sensor is there to fine tune the mix. The MAF is also there to fine tune idling which is why it idles crappy when its unplugged. Take a friends MAF swap it out and I guarantee it will run better.
