Why would you buy 2 piece projectors? Cancel your order! EEK!

LLTEK is crap, if you ask me. They are in the business of ricing audis, for the most part. I had a catalog of theirs sent to me... it was pretty hurtin'. Page after page of the ugliest accessories you can imagine.

And xenon=HID... they are the same thing.
LLTEK is also overpriced. So yeah, VVME ftw, if we're comparing those two companies.

I see. Thanks for the info.

I decided on the 2pc version for two reasons. A) i did not feel like grinding away on my fender, and B) i likehaving amber corners (i know, call me silly). I've seen clear corners on white Audi's and i'm not a big fan, so i want the option to interchange the corners if i don't like the look.

This is my baby:

Nice. Thats a major improvement over the stock lighting. You practically won't need your highbeams anymore.

I did not know that. I guess that's what i get for being a noob.

Thanks again for the info. I've searched differentforums and faq's for headlight info, and it's all greek to me sometimes. I'm an old man that's still learning.....bear with me.

I would return your 2 piece lights and cut your losses on shipping. I'm not being mean, I'm just trying to save you money in the long run!
Then find a pair of OEM headlights from 99.5 - 2001, and they will be one piece with the amber insert.
Likely be cheaper than the 2 piece 'ecodes' that LLTEK is pawning.
Grinding the fender isn't a big deal! It's really really easy... just use a brush to paint it again afterwards to prevent rust, and you're golden. One piece headlights make the car look years newer.

I do like the 1pc headlights, no doubt about it. I tried pricing a set at my dealer, and he quoted me$340-something(?) per light. I got the lltek set for $444+shipping.

I tried going the route of posting a WTB add on here for lights, but no one's selling. You have any good leads? I may consider shipping them back if i can find a good set with ambers.

Yeah they are expensive from the dealer for sure! But be patient, it will pay off within a couple months! Even call some auto wreckers... if the dealer quoted you that, you can likely get them for about half from a salvage yard.
Just call around! I'm sure some salvage yard in NA has some. Just get them shipped to you!
