my moms 4.6 v8 grand cherokee is quick as hell, but i still burn past her from time to time. some of those suvs are equipped with a rediculus ammount of power, im pretty sure that she would smoke a stock 1.8t.

Well look at it in the long run - when that big a** SUV or Truck runs out of gas, you can blow right by him, laughing all the way.

Hey I've dusted 400 - 600 hp vehicles in my stock A4 often. (of course they were Peterbuilts and Macks!)
