Interesting safety question :)
I`m curios...What happens when audi ran out of fuel and you are driving fast.I know when I turn of the car but give contact, power steer is off and brakes are braking very weak.I never waited long enough to see what happens, what if I am in curve and driving 60+,it could be dangerous. And how much fuel is in trunk when fuel light turns on?

When you lose power (run out of fuel and car shuts down), your power steering and brake assist shut down too. Both of these systems will still work, but you don't have the power assist working so they will feel much heavier. The brakes feel weak, but are actually just as effective. You have to press a lot harder on them to make them work without the assist. The same happens with the steering, you can still steer, but it will take more effort to move the wheel.
It can be dangerous, but the systems are still working.
I believe you have around 2 gallons left after the light comes on. It should say in your manual.

Its not that dangerous to run out of fuel at 60, your engine stop running but that dosent mean its not turning. think about it if you hit the brake while in gear it stops fueling the engine same as if your out of gas. all the systems are running off of the serpitine(badly spelled) belts so as long as your moving their working. If it ever did happen leave it in gear as you slow, down ship to keep rpms up and go to nuetral when your going slow enough to safely stop the car with no power
