Any other tips? I'll be using a lift (just because I can ) at the auto shop on base. They have all the tools I will ever need.

It would be cool if you took pics and posted them. I'm pretty interested about that install. Of all my time on the forums I've never seen pics of an FMIC install.

Here's what's going down. The bumper is off and I'm ready to put the intercooler on. The thing is, there are no instructions. Nada. I did see pics of the same intercooler on car domain, but apparently the pics of that car are busted. So here I am ready to go with no clue on how to hook this thing up. If anyone has any clue on how it's mounted, please send me a pic or an idea on how this thin goes on, since my roommate and I can't figure it out. [:@]

On a positive note, I did take some pictures and took some notes on how to take the bumper off. I also got my wheels today. Tires are still on backorder for another week. [:@]

I like to get a FMIC on mine too but it was too much of a hasle so
I decided to just get a refurbish IC for mine as for now. Please do
take some note and lots of pics so we can do it too!

Hey, did you have to unscrewed the three bolt to remove the
bumper?? I tried to take it off once but I couldn't. I took off
the wheel guard below the fender, the lights and saw that there
is two or three screw screws the bumper to the fender. I didn't
have much time because I have to get the car ready to go for a
wedding so I didn't take the initiative to take it all off. [sm=hia.gif]

I've been taking a lot of pictures of this project. The bumper was easy to get once we figured out how the damn thing comes off. I'll also write a diy guide with pictures. Tomorrow the turbo goes in.

Untill then, here's a few pic's.

Backside of bumper

Edit- I was looking at the piping going from the turbo to the intercooler. I'll probably end up hacking away at my radiator support to get the piping through.
