Instructions on removing stock radio?
I need to remove my radio to get the serial that's supposed to be on the side of it because it is locked right now and I don't have the code. Can anyone tell me how exactly do I go about removing it? What are the tools/steps required? Once I get the serial, what are my options on geting the code to unlock the radio? Thanks!

1. goto crutchfield and enter car info
2. buy tools neccesary
3. insert tools into slots, follow directions they give you.
4. pull radio out with tools
5. code will be on radio.
Thats what I did and I have the tools for future work I may need done. crutchfield will have all you need to know have fun.

to tell the truth I dont know about the deltas, on my concert there are two small slots on the bottom where I can stick the tools. I dont know about the older interior but mine is just snapped in and comes out pretty easy, just becareful as the plastic isnt too stong.
edit when you go to crutchfield they will tell you which tools to get as well as give you nice directions as to how to remove the radio, with all the info you enter about your car that is.

I think the slots are at the top... I remember taking it out of my dads old 96, if that's the same deck. I can't remember though...
Lets see if I can find a better pic from his car.
Here, I think I see slots at the bottom left and right (about 1" from the outside edge)
