Default Installing a sub

Well i just got the car not to long ago.. and im looking to put in my old sound system from my civic.. I was wondering.. how to route the power wire from the battery to the back and how to get it through the firewall?

Quick responses are greatly appreciated! thank you very much.

there's a hole under the ECU box. run the wire through there and under that plastic piece you see when you open the door. keep going past the B pillar and eventually you'll end up in the trunk. if you don't have a bose system your work will be easy lol. are you also putting in a different headunit? if so, there's something about the k line that you have to wire correctly or your car won't scan properly with vag com.

K line? Never heard of that... what does it do and what problems will it cause when you try and scan your car?

I don't know the ins and outs of the K wire, but I've read of it. My 99 2.8 doesn't have it that I know of, or if it did, I didn't have any problems installing my system. Since it's been in, I've had no issues with the stereo and no issues when running vagcom on the car. I remember reading that not all the cars had it, so either I don't, or I do and didn't know it, and just happened to do by chance whatever it is that I was supposed to do.
