installing amp and sub to factory head unit w/ bass ****
hey whats up guys,
havent been around in awhile b.c iv been busy with school, and havent been thinking about the ole 4ring'd monster...
anyway, in my travels i managed to get a hold of a 300watt 10" boss subwoofer in a totally enclosed box with a slot for air travel, i hooked it up to my buddy's amp in his silvia, and it bumbs damn hard...
anyway, i dont want to pay 245 buks for wires and installation, does anybody know if this can be a diy job? or does anybody have a writeup for it.
speaking to the guy at al&eds he told me that i am going to need some sort of remote switch
see ya,

Here ya go this is from the DIY section of the forums
Adding a Sub and Amp to the Bose System
https://www.audiforums.com/m_318162/tm.htm
Also I ran my power wire from the battery back to the trunk under my car as I didn't have the tools to take the ECU out as explained in the walk-through. Tucked it inside thebelly pan and called it a wrap! Make sure you keep it away from the exhaust though, burning plastic does not make for a great smell inside your car and is a PIA to clean up.
Good luck and let us know how it sounds once installed!!
