Default Inner Tie Rod Tool

Guys,

There are lots of references to a Inner Tie Rod Tool that can be used on an Audi A4, but I'm wary that the tools offered by Autozone / Adavnced in their loaner sets (or for sale) are for non-metric vehicles (GM etc.)

Can someone recommend a tool that they have used and they know will work please, links to where I can get one or a telephone number would be perfect.

Thanks a lot !

MAC tools makes an 18mm tie rod end tool that works magic for braking those stupid things loose. Its about $80 though.

I can't find one on either the snap on or mac tools catalog, your gonna have to either call the company or go to where an audi dealer is and ask them when the mac tools truck comes there during the week, they will have it on the truck.
