That was back in Aug. There was an InMotion tuned ECU on ebay. The ECU # did not match my ECU # so I did not bid or attempt to win the auction. I am in the process of having my stock ECU chipped these days. Thereisa lengthy InMotionpost that will make it to the top of the list about once a day, it should bring you up to date on the situation.

I bought one out of curiousity and it gives you the power they say but my engine would detonate and gives you a permanent fault code , I sold it and I still have my stock Ecu for emmission reasons . Hopefully this would respond at some of your questions

I live in New Zealand and thot id try it out so im sending my ECU in on monday.They said it shud be back 2 me in 5 working days. i have a 97 A41.8T Quattro.US$250 for a chip tune and chip socket converter which apperantly is helpful when i do upgrades. Like if i get K04 i just gota give him a ring and he will send me down a chip to suit that set up. Which no , it isnt free. I went thru the actual site , not ebay. Il keep you guys updated.

And for all of you to know YES I AM GETTING ONE AND ALSO GETTING A TIP CHIP FROM THEM!!!!!


Hopefully I will have them within two to three weeks. (Have to wait for my tax return) Or it might be sooner if I get paid enough for a video that I am doing.

I still would like to know whar octane gas he was using. He got on here last night and said he had detonation and that was it. He never replied.
