[:@]Trying to trouble shoot my problems here, the car runs when squirting gas into the intake, but when we pull the injectors and crank the engine there is no gas coming out. So my problem has to be electrical. What would be causing this??? The whole car was taken apart and i presume wires could be out but i followed the electrical lines fromt he injectors and everything seems to be plugged in. Where should i look??[:@]

 

i had the same issue with my ignition sytem (wires leading to ignition coils) and the wires were spliced i had to cute out the insulation and reinsulate with electical tape, its only temporary i found a used wireing harness of 888 VW Part1

 

I dont think thats my problem. My wiring seems to be fine. But after reading the haynes manual, it seems like the ecu will decide to not let the injectors work. Is this possible?

Does the computer have a failsafe mechanism that wouldnt allow the injectors to provide fuel??

 

check to see if fuel is actually pumped.
