If they want to get a more reliable car then a 2.8, look into a fiesta. The s4 will be 10 time(seriosly) less reliable.

 

its not teh 2.8 (no egine problems) it was teh guy taht owned it before me. He didnt treat it well.

 

here is ur best friend if ur looking for a s4. It tells u all u need to know. What teh common problems are and mmost important how to fix it. The biggest thing is get the 2001.5 and other things. Read it. I did and i will just buy all the stuff to prevent teh turbo failure and stuff.

I drove a tip s4 this morning, it didnt have near the torque my car has. I didnt get to open it up on the highway, but down low my car would take it without a problem.

 

hmm that cant be right well maybe cause of ur K04 but if it was chipped it would take u and maybe it was slow caus eit was a tip?

 

I don't know about any of those "YOU AIN'T LIVING TILL YOU ARE IN DEBT" comments... b/c (i hope you guys were jokin...) thats the worst advice I have ever heard. Don't put yourself behind the eight-ball especially at 17 years old man. It's not worth it. If I were you... I'd be DAMN stoked to be driving what you already have!!! I'm 23 and finally got myself an Audi.


Question... Why not pick up a gem 99 A4 1.8T? Half the price of an S4 and plenty of options for ya. If speed is what you are looking for... pick up a 91 Talon TSi AWD. Dime a dozen, and fast as hell. Also as for an S4... my buddy is an Audi/ VW mechanic and he STRONGLY advised me to stray away from the S4's (especially over 50k miles). All sorts of problems arise that you don't want to be worrying about.

im looking at the 1.8T and then putting like a K04 or some other trubo upgrade but i cant find a stick with low miles, quattro around here.

 

the first week you have the S4 it will be better than sex.
the second week you have the S4 it will be like your bday everyday.
the third week you have the S4 it will feel great.
the fourth week you have the S4 it will just be your regular old car.
