Im sick of the lack of performance mods for my car.
So here are teh advantages to buying a s4.
Xenon 1 piece lights
full size spare
Maybe less miles
better leather seats
better interior
the car compu. screen will actually work
its faster of course
for 600 more i will have 310 hp
better suspension
body kit
wont have ugly rims to replace
heated seats
any more to add?

THe cons
I have tint, SS, and stereo already installed, around $600 to get back to here
insurance is more
Might get in more trouble with it
i love my audi now
a little less reliable
will be in debt for a little (will need to borrow around 2 grand (hopefully less) and it will need to be paid off before any mods
i will be making in a week at my new job 8.25 an hour and once school sarts i =t will be aorund 20 hrs a week
might be silver instead of black
any cons im missing?



I knw u guys will say go for the s4 and thats what i say but but urself in the money issue which is the biggest for me right now, and insurance.

 

do u have the 2.8 or 1.8t engine now

 

2.8 thats why, other wise i would have a GT 28rs in it, i would go for a 1.8t but why not go for the s4 if im gonna have to get those mods again? Plus with a s4 and 600 bucks i will have more 310 on it.

well heres the money issue. I odnt have the cash now but i might be able to finance it but my dad would just pay for it in full and then i would fiance from him just so i cant screw up my credit and incase i lose my job. As a safety. So if i can do that should i? I guess thats the real question.

 

If you dad is gonna pay for it anyway, go get a loan and have him co-sign. That way he's still got you covered if you lose your job, but if you make the payments then you help your credit. Down the road, your credit will make or break you. As far as the car, it sounds like you want it. Get it.

 

Save up for a while and get it. Just have enough to afford it first.

 

I'd skip on the S4. It will cost more than you think in repairs etc.

 

Don't forget the "smile" factor - I say a little debt is not a bad thing...you'll be motivated and work it off in no time....go for it...

 

i was going to do the same thing you want to do.. but... this is the main factor..... u know your 2.8 right now... u know how it works.. u know what it can handle.. you know the problems it has.

when buying a car what you want to consider is the fact that you will have a whoooollleee bunch of problems that could but not necessarily will arise. So yeah, before you buy an s4... which i totally agree with (it is a better and easier car to mod)... read up on alllll the problems they have, and also before buying it... check absolutely everything about it.... good luck.
