Default Im So Confused!: Audi A4 3.2 VS VW Passat VR6

Hey guys,

Im pretty new to the sport sedan market and I test drove an Audi A4 today and loved it. However, when I was finished the dealer told me that the VW Passat was faster. Im confused as to why a VW would be better than an Audi, as I always thought Audi was far more sport oriented.

I am to test drive the 280hp VW tommorow and I was wondering which you guys think is better. They are about equally priced.

Thanks!

I think the VW is a front wheel drive, and weighs less. The Audi can be AWD. This means more power lost to the wheels. Look at the interior in an audi, then look at a VW. Look at the exterior of an audi, and then look at the VW. Finally, imagine if your buddy had an Audi and you had a VW. Then imagine were the women would want to be in.

Make the pimp decision.

Depends on what your looking for. With 280 hp its going to be faster. If your looking for something with speed, then you could get that. However, if class or style has any factor in your decision, get the audi.
