if i get a turbo inlet hose will i be able to just put my maf sensor on the end of it and then a cone filter?

 

Maybe. Depends on the inlet hose/pipe. Something needs to support the weight of the MAF housing and cone filter. You may not want to do it anyways with a 1.8t because the engine bay gets very hot and you'll lose power from sucking in hot air.

 

i was going to buy the apr inlet hose.... and also put a nice heat shield is this stilla bad idea?

 

if you have a really good heat sheild you should be fine... im building one today for my cone
