Default ICU for 98 1.8T

Apparently there is a national back order on the Bosch OEM ICU for the B5 1.8T. Anybody here know where I might be able to find one?

I was thinking Ignition Control Unit, but yes, ICM. Would this cause the misfire and be the reason my car doesnt start? Or can a coilpack cause both problems. The car is stuck in the driveway not starting and I dont have access to a VAG-COM for the correct codes.

There could be many reasons, the ICM is a possibility.

Buy a different brand like HUCO, they will work fine.

But, I would try to trouble shoot more before I start going and buy $150 parts on a guess.
