RE: i went a lousy 125!
ive hit 130 in my b5 before the rev limiter cut it off. On the highway at 1am so pretty much driving by myself. I try to keep it to double digits normally so i dont get owned by a cop. Sooner or later tho i have been lucky so far!

if its loose at that speed, you better slow down.
Sounds like something is off.
Suspension is wearing out, or alignment is off, or something.
How many miles on it? When's the last time you had an alignment?
If you are going to drive that fast, you want to make sure you are in tip-top shape.
Get some coilovers on that thing and have the car set up, before you crash and burn.

46K miles on the car. I just bought it about a month ago so I don't really know what kind of work has been done to it. All the standard maintanance is done regularly. Listening to all the people in this thread it sounds like 110 isn't really that fast. What can i do to make sure its in premium shape? The dealer okays it every time i go in for something, I assume its all good after that, but who knows.

Well, you shouldn't be getting loose at 105. Have the suspension and tie-rod ends checked over, and maybe get the the car aligned. I am not exactly sure what you experienced, do mean steering was loose, or the car jsut didn't seem stable, or what?
Since you have the sport package, you should be good, but maybe something is worn out. It just doesn't sound right. And, you want to be safe if you are going to drive that fast.
