Yeah the hardest part about the K04 job is getting your tools on the bolts, some spots can be very cramped and the bots really stuck.

I ended up tuning with GIAC after installing the K04

dude i know! i had to take off the turbo and manifold as one piece. Then one of the three bolts that hold the turbo on broke of in the old turbo. Upsolute is that bad. I know most of the others are the best (by name) butHave theyhad problems?

Lol, I love how a turbo swap on your own to the audi crowd is an amazing feat. With dsm's you would be made fun of if you paid someone to swap your turbo. Any way, good job and good luck with the new setup, and get some pics up!

Spend a little extra and get the GIAC PC-16 file with supporting mods... Trust me, you won't be disappointed. And I to did the turbo swap thing myself and no it wasn't fun with some bolts. Mostly the turbo to cat bolts.

its far from an amazing feat, no one was bowing down to him for such an accomplishment, and most Audi owners on here have done allot of their own work, i know i do, and many would be insulted if you tried to say otherwise.so stop being so damn ostentatious because your more of a veteran too engines. Yet too the op, good job on taking the initiative, my votes on going pc-16 giac as well. Everyone seems to get bored with just a normal ko4 setup after a while.

where can i get my info on the giac chip i did not see much on there web site. Yes and dam that oil return line.

see if theres a dealer around or close too you and ask about the bigger injector file for the b5's
