Yeah that happens. My car looked fine after I did it till it got a little dusty then you could CLEARLY make out the 1.8t and A4. After a few more washes it all but went away. Just give it some time

we need a sticky explaining that its NORMAL to have fading/excessive glue/other junk after debadging.
it all goes away, whether its car washes or you need to buff it out real quick, your car is not ruined lol..
nobody should hesitate from de badging there car over these silly reasons.

i just debadged today and it looks like the glue had eaten some of my clear cause i got it all off or as much as goo gone will take off but you can still see the outline ...a quick buff or and eraser pad should clear it up

i still have marks on mine from debadging.. ghost like reminenants from the 1.8T and the A4
they are scratches in the paint like little nicks..
I had a hell of a time getting them off and I apparently rubbed to hard ..Im gonna paint them black and clear coat the badges and put them back on
anyone know how to re apply them? what adhesive to use?
