I think that summed it up nicely.....
So what did we learn?
1. He has a gap and I don't like it.
2. He may actually have the CORRECT spoiler, because some of them have gaps.
Even so, it's easier to spot the eBay version because of the 2 strips of the 3M tape sticking out from the ends.
I think that this one (below) has the cleanest look to it. I'd be willing to bet money that's not an eBay spoiler.

right..^^ its the topspin, like mine, and it has gaps....
& its totally cool if you dont like it, im just pointing out why the B7 quite possibly has the type that
extends to the edges of the trunk - bec. the b7 fenders & lights go out further, where the B5 is a sharp drop.

It may or may not be the e-bay one, but the B5 doesnt necesarily extend to the sides as your B7 does...
therefore its not the "wrong size" as you originally stated.

i just need to make it clear that there is no gap on my m3 lip, lol... i just didnt install very centered on my 12v, i took off that lip and put it on my 30v w/ a lil installion experience under the belt, and it fits perfectly, no gap on either side.. if anyone wants the sellers name that sold it to me i would be more than happy to provide it.
