Default Huge metel shavings!!

i posted in the a5 thread accidently..
here it is again in the right thread.. sorry

so i bought a 2000 a4 1.8t, had engine ticking pretty bad, i thought it was low oil pressure caused by sludge. well i got the pan off and it has quite a few( i try to insert pics ) metel shavings, and there pretty big, all of it seems to be magnetic and there paper thin. is there any way this could be caused from a bad turbo being drivin hard and dumping shavings into the oil pan? any ideas where i should start to look? i plan on pulling some rod caps, and crank bearings to see where it is at. oo yeah i pulled a single cam bearing and it didnt look bad at all. gave me hope. someone has def been into the oil pan befor, blue rtv everywhere, and the oil baffle is missing.

any ideas are greatly appreciated

iam just ranting nowlol, feels kinda good though. sorry for the long post.. iam a newb here, learned alot so far. great place and people.. pls help..... audi gods be with me and you!!

that looks really unhealthy. Not sure what it could be. Pull the head and check the cylinder bores

It turned out it is a spun #1 cylinder rob bearing...

Do you guys think i can get away with haveing the crank reground and a larger bearing and new rod, or is it used engine time.
