Not sure if just putting lowering springs on stock shocks is a good idea. Chances are you'll end up forking out for new shocks sooner, rather than later. Would be interesting to see what the stock wheels look like on a lowered car though!

I have pics of my B & G springs 1.5" drop on stock 16" wheels from 4 months ago
and
I think it adds a lot personally. Then go for some 18s with a lip cuz thats the only way to roll!

neuspeed sport springs on bilstein grooved shocks. the shocks allow an additional 1" drop.

do you have stock sport suspension? i think stock 16" wheels means 'yes' since that's what's on my car. if you don't replace the shocks with the springs you will likely blow them out. if you search the forum it's been beaten to death recently. if you don't change you shocks then i question if you will get all the advertised drop out of those springs. the reason is ... stock sport suspension is already lower than spring manufacturers advertise, so you will likely get about 3/4" less drop than expected.
so ... do the math ... advertised 1.5" drop less 0.75" is actually only going to drop the car about 3/4". know what i mean? i had the same brain cramp trying to decide what to buy. but i bought shock/spring combo so with the grooved shocks i was able to drop the spring perches and level the car at whatever height i wanted (within reason). the grooved shocks allow adjustment from 1" ABOVE stock (great for winter) to 2" BELOW stock ... something like that. look at grooved bilsteins on www.ecstuning.com. that's where i got mine. if you're on a budget and don't want to drop over 1G on coilovers it's your best bet.

Well i dunno much about this stuff, but im new with audis, if it was honda i'll be easier because you dont really need to change shocks, anywyas since my Audi is an Quattro shouldn't i have sport suspension? so do i still have to replace the shocks?

quattro and sport suspension are independent options...check your shocks, if they're red, you have the sport suspension...if that's the case, your shocks will last a little bit longer than the stock non-sport shocks, but they will most likely still be shot after a few months
