Hey guys

I did a search and couldnt find anything in the post so I ask you...are there constant problems with the quattro system because Ive been told to stay away from the AWD of any car and just go with the front wheel drive. This is important to my just because of the snow so can anyone confirm that this is a fact or just someones stupid opinion...thanks
you proably heard this from a green horn. drive a quattro in the snow and youll see what makes it better than an SUV or any other AWD vehicle. from what ive seen those "other" AWD cars have a rear drive and all but its only there to keep the front wheels from spinning. quattro is nearly bullet proof and when stuff has a lock on the center diff which is what helps get out of most sticky situations.

more moving parts = more failure = poor rational

space shuttle designers dont go by this philosophy, neither does anyone else.....

your dad should go get a base model kia rio because it has the least moving parts, no power windows to go out, no cruise to mess up

hey take the AC/heat out of your house too, something could go out because you are adding more moving parts.....

yeah that will certainly keep me from owning a nice car... something "could" go out.....please

sorry for my sarcasm... but i just dont see people saying " i like that car but it has power windows, cruise, keyless, and fourcylinders instead of one!and thats just more stuff to break"

no get an Opel cadet from the late 60's, those things have like two moving parts and a 40hp engine, but they kick a$$ in the bush country of Africa.
