tomorow morning im going to get a 2.5" cat back exaust

Any know how much i should expect to pay?

 

Do your homework when buying exhaust systems, but a full cat back exhaust is usually 600-800 dollars.
Un-less you get it custom made.

well it shouldn't cost more that 400$ including the muffler and resonator.

find a reputable shop and inquire about pricees and what they can offer... also try and steer clear from no name exhausts... go for magnaflow

also if you do a search on exhausts you will find a great deal of info on this site

Seriously, take your time with it, its pretty importatn, you will be living with that sound for the duration of your cars ownership. Learn how loud you want it and things. Theres more info on this site that says exactly how loud each exhaust system is.

 

i was looking for a deep noise... what could i compare it to??

umm STI exaust....

it wont be as lound as that most likley, but it does sound much deeper and more rumbly than most. no annoying high pitched fart cans, these engines just dont do that. i was dreuving in front of a wrx, and between his diverter valve adn exaust i thought it was me

unless u have a bigger turtbo, id go with 2.25" exaust, like the borla system.

and i know lots ofpeople go with custom, and u can find really good stuff, but i have trouble trusting most places i find that do custom exaust work. id suggest getting good quality mufflers like borla and hen have an exaust shop piece it all together

if a company will spend a crapton of money researching a system, they probly have something right

 

I paid 225 for a custom job (not counting the magnaflow muffler)
