"A third option is to order a spare ECU and have us install the modified chip before sending it on to you. This will allow one to swap the stock engine computer back in when getting the car serviced. The spare ECU's that we sell are new factory units. Because of this, there are no refunds on spare ECU's, only on the APR software. For more information on this, see the Terms and Conditions of Sale. Spare 97-99.5 A4 ECU's are an additional $780, and spare 00-01 ECU's are $680."
