I'd give my left nut to be able to pay 49$ to fill up my car.
last fillup cost me 72 dollars. that's canadian, but it still works out to a ~$65US fillup. that's over 4 bucks a gallon folks. wow.[:@]

Last fill up was 316.2 miles and it took 12.592 gallons. I never let my tank go below a 1/4 - 3/8 before filling. 87 octane Sheetz famous gas from Pa. 96 A4 - B5 2.8 Quattro Auto running the Air.

I've gone as far as 385 miles on 17 gallons of Shell's 91 octane I believe. This was literally the bottom of the tank. I think it registered that I had about 10 miles left. This is probably off of 70% light traffic in the city and 30% highway for one week's worth of driving.
As for Belligerence, you have to pay so much for gas b/c of your socialist ways up there--but then again at least you don't have to pay so much for your military budget since we cover your southern border--LOL! That and I think the U.S. gov't appreciates your comedians and we wouldn't want to lose that import!
Audiprotein--I have had the same readout on my odometer, but once they started mixing some of the ethanol crap into some of the gas around here (NJ) I only get about 385/395 on the dial. If you didn't know--ethanol gets poorer gas mileage--so now we pay to subsidize corn, pay taxes on gas, and then pay more money on corn infused gas to give us less mileage so we have to buy more gas than before, and therefore give more tax revenues so that politicians can get paid to find another thing to complain about and the cycle of thievery continues--LOL!
Sorry for the rant...

An interesting thing, when the tank is full it shows me about 420-440 miles left, when about 30-40 miles left according to a computer, on odometer there is only 300-330 miles, i dont drive that crazy. It is a 1.8t B6.

i get about 320 and i'm due for an oil change... i use 10w-40 and it lasts me like 2500 miles lol...i like to abuse the right pedal and hit the red numbers from time to time so i guess 320 isn't all that bad... i have a 98.5 1.8t with k and N intake and custom cold air charge....
