yea, had mine down to 0 once. Was on the way hoem from work and on my way to a gas station watching the thing as i sat in traffif: 10 - - - 5 - - - 0... oh sheet!
Made it without a sputter.

Didn't you ever see the Top Gear video where Jermey drives the A8 to/from London/Edinburgh on a single tank of diesel? Classic.

 

When you get to 1/4 tank, that should be a big clue to refuel. Why press your luck? You never know what could happen, and why put yourself and your car at risk?? Just doesn't make any sense to me, and seems very irresponsible. Good information to have, but nonetheless irresponsible.

With my 96 2.8, i could go 73 miles until i ran out of gas(did it twice)
With my 97 1.8, i can go closer to 90 before the walbrostarts to whine....
