How do you guys mount after market rims?

RE: How do you guys mount after market rims?
Make sure that the seat is conical (straight taper) or rounded on the new socket style lug nuts to match thenew wheels. Also, you need to install the wheel studs in with an allen head, and putloc-tite on the threadsbefore installing the studs.
You need to make certain you get the right length studs. If they are too long, you won't be able to getthe lug nuts on all the way, because the stud will end up pushing thesocket lugwrench (the bit should comewith the kit)out of the lugnut before it is tight. If the studs are too short, they may not stick out enough for the lug nut to even get a few turns on the threads. You need to measure the depth of thewheel (as you call it, rim)in the stud holes to determine which length you need. You'd be better off just going to alocal tireshop that stocks aftermarket wheels (rims) andthey usually have the stud and socket lug conversion kits there.Make some phone calls.
