Oh sorry I was thinking about a different thread. They wouldnt replace the 02 sensor if it was still good, and they are usually ok until 80k ish miles. They do get lazy though and will hinder performance for a long while until finally throwing a CEL. Im pretty sure OEM plugs are platinum and are normally good for 100k miles. You should check/replace the air filter and spark plugs (use copper in my oppinion NGK-BKR6E gapped to .030). Im a good driver too, but that doesnt mean when I put the hammer down my gas mileage is going to go up!
A chip will give you better mpg than stock when driving comparatively, except when you are getting on it good. My highway mpg increased 5+ mpg.
If you drive mostly in the city, and are a semi aggressive (with the gas pedal) driver, then 17mpg actuallydoesnt sound too off.

 

ahh ok..well I do a lot of stop and go driving so I assume thats why its 23ish. I don't think its that bad, plus I got it 4 days ago and I've been playing with the turbo. (First turbo car) It only have 51k so I should be good. I'll give it another 2 weeks or so to see my average. should change.

 

Playing with the turbo??? Do you take it out and build a lego town around it or something?
