i chose german because i wanted luxury yet sporty..i chose Audi because where i'm from they're much more rare than BMWs and mercedes..i chose the a4 because it was the only audi in my price range..and i chose the 2.8 because i didn't want to be spending every paycheck on mods (i'm an addict, i'll admit it)

I have worked for many German companies. Went to Germany on business and rented an A4. Was there 2 weeks with many facilities to visit all over the country (via Autobahn!). Fell in love!

In 1998 bought an A6 2.8. Loved the ride and luxury but a bit underpowered. 1999 Audi came out with the A6 2.7T 6 speed and I was ticked. Anyway, had a little less $ to spend in 2003 when I traded my car in so A4 1.8TQ it was!

My true belief: German cars are designed and built to higher standards. Going 130 mph on the Autobahn is normal and a requirement of the German populace.

I also bought a BMW E36 convertable 323 sport in 1999. Loved that too. As long as I can afford it, I'll only own German cars but I don't like Mercedes (at least the ones I could afford).

By the way B5'ers....B6 rules!!!!!!

I had been driving a BMW 635csi since way back...but it was terrible in the snow. I drive up to Vt most weekends in the winter, and was either renting a car or bumming a ride with friends. So I started looking for an awd sports sedan. A4s and 330xi were the two tops on my list.

I decided on an a4 cause I liked the awd system better...and it seemed like a better deal than the 330xi. So I start shoping around dealers, and happen to take my sister with me to a dealer one day. We walk past an s4...she says "What is that! And why aren't you getting one"...I couldn't think of a reasonable answer...she was right.

Didn't wanna be driving a honda like everyone else. I was looking for something classy yet reliable, so it had to be a Euro. It was either a 3series or an A4...I love the BMWs' exterior but the interior just looks cold and uninviting. From the second I sat in my audi I fell in love, plus living in the northeast AWD just sealed the deal.

Here's my story:

I've been on the market for a Euro for a few months, and I've finally got one almost settled -- 2005 jetta GLI limited. Then one day, just cruising down the Pasadena freeway on my truck, I see two beams of light at my rear view mirror; then to my side; then finally I get CUT OFF!. This ******* driving an audi blatantly cut me off at the exit, but as i saw the car pass me, something caught my eye. I saw the curves of the A4 from behind and for some reason, I just decided that I had to have an Audi. Nothing beats the classic, yet sporty look of the B6.
Pasadena Fwy was always one of my favorite drives!

I wanted AWD and my DSM is out classed by even a subi so I knew that I would get a WRX but then I fell into this site and found that the 99.5 A4 had looks and good turbo support. So here I am slowly trying to fight between looks and performance just don't have enough cash to support all my hobbies [&o]
