Holes in my Floor Mat, what to do?
I am looking for some advice on replacing my drivers side floor mat which has two 2inch holes in it from heal wear. My other mats are in a good shape. I've narrowed it down to a few options, let me know what you think and im open to other suggestions. I want to avoid rubber. The car has black interior with cloth checkered seats.
(1) fix old mat by gluing rubber heal pad over the holes, ~$20
DIY is rewarding, cheap, not exciting, may not be permanent
(2) buy 4 new cloth floor mats from dealer, ~$90
only sold in set of 4, OEM replacement, boring plus I only need one OEM mat
(3) 4 new coco mats, ~$150
very durable mats, popular in sports cars in the 60's, unique look and feel

(4) 2 front carpet mats with audi logo, ~$200
carpet replacement with cool logo on them (any image you want), expensive

would look something like this,
wwyd?
