does anyone have this? I bought mine a few days ago but havent reveived it yet, I got the adapter and recirculation kit and wondering how it sounds? DV lovers, im recirculating it, dont worry about it. Yes, i do like how a bov sounds.

 

i've never heard it with a resurc kit although i would like to. i know when its used as a bov its loud as hell

 

is that a bov/dv together or just the bov?

and WHY do you have to want the BOV? its not necccesssaryyy mann, its only gonna hurt your car... a DV will HELP you to run it like it was meant to be run

 

its a bov turned into a dv it still resurculates all the air buit you get the advantage of the hks bov which is the best one they make.

 

probably will just get muffled from the airbox anyway

 

I'll admit, for as much as a DV **** I am, I love that sound too. Even more so the one that goes "Psshhwsshwsshhwshhhwsshh" instead of "Pshhhhh"

 

I will admit also that although I am very anti-Rice I still do like the sound of a good bov, I didnt know they made a recirc kit for that, and it would be pretty nice to be able to switch between the two pretty easily, but is it easy to switch from one to the other with that kit?

They do have a Recirculation kit. I can tell you all first hand how it sounds later this week or next week. "It is a DV essenially after the recirc. kit is on. It only cost me $15(recirc. kit). Can you guys hear your DV's? Also I had the crazy idea that what if where the hose coming off the bov had a Y fitting that one went to the intake track like its supposed to, but the other half vented into the atmosphere. Is there any reason this is a bad idea?

 

yeah thats not a good idea baecasue you still lose some of the air the ecu thinks you have the best thing to do is resurculate all and get an intake so you can hear it better. or if you already have one then there you go.
