HIGH VACCUM READING AT IDLE??????????
I have a stock B5 that I want to mod. I am starting by fixing the problem areas on the A4 (i.e timing belt, clutch, DV, K03......) you know the regulars. I noticed something that seemed odd for a turbo car, the vac reading at idle, after warming up, is 22 in/hg. Is this normal for the A4 or should I be looking for a contributing part failure? I have another B5 that is Under construction and I never took a vac/boost reading before I ripped it apart. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
