Racing clutch will make have less slip, and less forgiveness. The friction point will be smaller (how much? I dont know.. never driven an a4 with one.)

IMHO, I would go with the raceing clutch...

I have a 350hp porsche with a clutch that has been labeled as an on/off switch, full race... I can drive it on the street just fine..

Guys, I'm a real noob in clutches. I dont want to come to the shop where a mechanic would say THAT CLUTCH WOULD BE THE BEST, it is just $1000. As i said before, i have a 2003 1.8t, so far, i'm planning to get an exhaust and a chip. So please, if someone has some experience, give me an idea on what clutch + flywheel i should get.

A southbend stage 2 or 3 should suit you fine.

And also, which flywheel would be better, aluminium or a steel one?

I wouldnt go southbend, buddy I got the car from went through TWO of em in under 2000 miles and lost a trans to it, the first one was slipping after 500 miles so it was assumed defective and replaced, the second one that was on my car went 1250 miles, started to slip, didnt replace it fast enough and the splines came undone and damaged the transmission, + the company was NO help at all on that.

Now I have the Clutchmasters Stage 4 6-puck, and I can drop it at 3500 and it will GRAB no slipping at all. Hell, it will stall the motor before it slips even a little. it has about 5000 miles on it now and no issues whatsoever, best clutch I have ever had on any car.

I'm in the same boat, my clutch just started slipping in high RPMs. Being a college student, I don't have tons of money, so I need something cheap (eg. w/o flywheel). Here is a link:
http://www.ecodetuning.com/shop/cart...tail&p=468
This is a performance clutch for use with the stock flywheel that will also last longer than the oem clutch. This will be useful for a chipped car. Mine has 83,xxx mi, but has been chipped since it was new, so the clutch has been worn more than it would if it were stock. This is also a good idea if you ever decide to go BT or K04. Good luck!

sirfalconx, Yeah, a lot of people say southbend is good, now i begin to think about it.

Get on the road at about 35 or 40mph, put it in 5th, and FLOOR it - if it's gonna slip, it'll slip then. If it doesn't slip, chances are you could be OK.
