Default HID to halogen conversion??

i'm getting a pair of one piece headlights, but they are HID housings, and the seller isn't including the ballasts. eventually i'll get an HID kit for them, but for now, can i install them and use halogen H7 bulbs?

EDIT: these are off of an S4, if that makes a difference...also, anyone have any suggestions on a good place to get the lower fog kit?

I don't really know about the head lights, and I'm almost sure you would have to rig the power for them. I'm looking for the link to the fogs.

No you can't put halogen bulbs into a HID housing. First the bulb won't fit, and second the wiring isn't there.

well you can check any used audi part website. they might have some. since they are the OEM ones it looks better than the aftermarker ones ive seen. and incase you didnt know the grill is two pieces on each side. i ended up buying some of my buddy. i put them in myself it was pretty much str8 foward but you are going to have to re-locate your horn and wire the fogs into your headlight fog wires.

ok, so i'm buying these housings for 250 bucks, with no ballasts, no bulbs, and no leveling motor...just the housings and wire harnesses...the oemhid.com kit includes ballasts & bulbs...what about the leveling motor? do i have to get that from somewhere else? also, is there anything i'm leaving out here that i'll need?
