HID Conversion + Euro Headlight Conversion?
OK~
1998 1.8t Quattro
I want to do a HID conversion with a Euro headlight and there are a lot of options out there - anyone else done this or somthing like it.
So far I know I need
H7 Conversion kit - I can only find low beam conversion kits. Anybody know of a hi/lo kit for my car
Euro headlamps - are the one's on ebay for 150 any good - they look the same as more expensive versions
I have 2pc headlights now - they say I can use the 1pc type with my year - is there much of mod to make this work
Just looking for a little insight

just put the 150 you would waste on ebay towards ecodes from ecstuning.com they're $400 plus 25 shipping and worth it. ebay stuff sux i bought some as a temp. solution and they are foggy right now as we speak. the HID will melt them also.

I have the ebay hid and halos, the harness rae fucked up theres 3 pieces, and you have to cut wires and crimp for the halos to turn on. And i have the HID kit hooked up to my high beams. Im looking for a low and high beam for a resonable price. Otherwise go with PIAA hyper white bulbs, there pretty bright for lows and the hid kit for highs, and blind some mother ******* driving down the road.

Don't buy the ebay headlights they're crap. Get a quality set from ecstuning or lltek. If you want HIDs again go with a quality set, try xenonpros.com. If you get HIDs you won't need to convert the highbeams also, trust me the lows are bright enough.
