Default hi guys... its me, problem audi again

what are some signs that a clutch is going bad? i am currently at 107k miles, and am not sure if they ever changed the clutch. 96 audi 2.8

when driven hard, car seems to hesitate for a sec... is that a sign of going clutch? man this car has sooo many problems... and OEM parts are so $$, that i think i might mod my car, just for price sake.
also seems like my car is getting slower and slower..

so with that,
what kind of clutch is a good cheap replacement to stock?
since im doing that, what is a good exhaust that will give me some hp, but not much noise? i dont like the racer exhaust sound...
and since ill do that, what is a good cheap intake for this car? thanks guys...
maybe if i treat the car as a toy, it will last longer and run better. So far, babying it has done notrhing but cost $$$

intake: do it yourself
exhaust: personal preferance (but why mod a 12V)
your loss of power: try a fuel system cleaner, and if they havent been done recently, check your plugs/wires
clutch: watch your revs... is this "hesitation" you feel accompanied with your RPM's climbing?

If not, hesitation could be a result of the other things I mentioned... might be helped with plugs/wires.

we as 12vers might not get many gains out of our mods but like any outher person we like to mod the car we have.

if you are going down the street say 30mph put it in 5th and floor it. it the tack climbs faster than your speedo then you are looking to buy a new clutch. i got mine from spec ...stage 2 spec

you should try seafoam look it up on aw in the 12v development forum here

just go to a local custum exhaust shop and thell them what you want

and since ill do that, what is a good cheap intake for this car?

k&n drop in filter is good or you could pick a cheep cone intake off ebay not much power gains form both but 2nd one makes some nice sucking sounds.

thanks guys...
