ok i just my first audi, a 1997 2.8 a4, i took the cd cartridge out of the 6 disc changer to put cd's in and i cant get the cartridge back in, i'm putting it in with the arrow on top and pointing towards the cd changer, also is the car suppost to turn off when it warms up?

any help will be apprieciated

 

Hi ecksman, welcome to the forum. No the car is not suppose to turn off once it has warmed up. Mine has done that a few times. Does yours do it all the time? Also Audi's are really not supposed to be warmed up by idling. (it's in your manual)

 

there not, how are they supposed to be warmed up. i went back to the car to give it one last shot before calling it a night and i figured it out whoever installed my changer put it upside down

 

You warm up the car by driving it. Start the car, wait a few seconds, put in gear and drive away.
